Semax - 10mg

Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide corresponding to a fragment of ACTH (4-7) with a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro extension for stability. Its mechanism is genuinely multi-pathway: modulation of BDNF and NGF expression, effects on dopaminergic and serotonergic neurotransmission, influence on enkephalin metabolism (sharing this with Selank), and effects on cerebral blood flow and oxygen utilisation. It doesn't engage the classical melanocortin receptors despite its ACTH lineage.

Semax is authorised as a medicine in Russia for cerebrovascular and cognitive indications, with a Russian clinical literature spanning several decades.
